WHAT IS COSMIC PAINTING?

Cosmic Painting® is artist Zetune Jebor’s lifelong system of dissecting and describing life through paint on canvas.

Science gives us more proof every day that behind the apparent reality visible to our eyes there is a complex invisible reality. A wooden table and humble chair are very different from our limited perception of them as objects. Indeed, they are systems in motion, dynamic energy suspended in the cosmic architecture of interweaving and interacting forces of mass, light, energy, molecules, atoms, ions, magnetic fields and chakras. They are more living organism than static form. And unlike other figurative painting genres, Cosmic Painting® is neither art of illusion nor record of nature. Jebor’s “cosmic” refers to the metaphysical universe.

All modern masters sought the realities underlying illusion but the struggle continues. None have yet succeeded in capturing true reality, and until then, it is the endeavor that counts; it is the effort that brings forth adventures in human creativity. Zetun Jebor’s Cosmic Painting® expresses eternal truths not only about the unity of humankind, but also about the unity of the entire cosmos, the interdependence and interweaving of human life with all forms of life energy in the universe.
